A fitting place to start when talking about dog toys is the doggy toy box that holds them. For several years we had our dogs' toys in a lump under a table. It always bothered me that it looked so cluttered and disorganized. Of course the dogs loved it since it was so easily accessible! However, I did not. I wasn't sure if they would even know how to use a toy box, but I was determined to organized their toys. I searched and searched the Internet for the perfect doggy toy box. To my surprise there were not many out there! Finally, after looking for sometime, I came across the pictured doggy toy box on Amazon at Richards Homewares storefront. It measures: 16.75"W x 13.75"D x 10.125"H, which doesn't seem that big, but surprisingly it holds a lot. They probably have about 20 plush and rubber toys, and a few Nylabone bones that are usually bought at Petco held in it.
I'm not sure what the toy box is actually made from, maybe a stiff cardboard. It is covered in fabric type canvas with dog bone shaped grommets that make it easy to move around. We have had it for a couple of years now and it still looks brand new. We really like it as it organizes the clutter well. And, to my surprise, the dogs can easily pull their toys out of it! It almost seems like a game to them. Pulling out all of their toys is fun. Now if they could only learn how to put them back in it.
