One of the things I like to do with our dogs' belongings is to keep them organized. That is actually how this blog got started. My first blog post was on The Doggy Toy Box. That toy box was cheap, but it's still holding on strong. Well, I digressed here, but you get my point. I like to be organized. That brings me to another jewel that has helped keep our dogs' walking necessities organized. It is the Sonoma Coat Rack, which I found on the Home Decorators Collection website. It wasn't too expensive either. I paid around $40 for it.
We hung the Sonoma Coat Rack right by the front door on the side wall. It works out beautifully. As you can see, we keep the leashes, harnesses, poop bags, dog treats, and flashlight on it. We sometimes have a towel and the raincoats on it, too. Keeping everything in one place works out nicely because then we are not fumbling around to find anything. You never know when that emergency potty run might happen. Our dogs are well house-trained, but Carolina has been known to dance around and lick our faces to get our attention fast! When that happens we know she's gotta go! Bam! We know where everything is to get her out the door fast. We love this small addition to our living room area. It looks nice and functions really well for a "doggy gear organizer" even if it is a coat rack.
